I forgot my password

  1. Visit the Okta logon page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. If prompted, select Password from the list of authenticators
  4. Click the Forgot password? link below the password text box
  5. You will be able to receive a one-time code via SMS or a link via personal email, then use a second factor (Okta Verify, Authenticator, Security Key, etc.) to reset your password

I see this message when signing in:

To access Application XYZ, your organization requires you to sign in with Okta FastPass.

This error occurred because your computer was not recognized as a secure Dataminr device. To access sensitive applications, you must use Okta FastPass to sign in.

I'm using a Dataminr device

If you encounter this error on a Dataminr device, you must use Okta FastPass to authenticate.

  1. Open Okta Verify
  2. Ensure your Dataminr user account is listed. If it is not, open Okta Verify on your device and add your Dataminr account.
  3. Now that Okta Verify is registered and running on your device, select FastPass when signing in to Okta.

I'm using a personal device

From a personal device, use Workspaces Web to access the application:

  1. Log on to browser.dataminr.com from your personal device
  2. Click the blue Sign In button
  3. The first time you log on for the day, it may take a moment to load
  4. Once loaded, you will have a secure web browser session inside your browser
  5. You will be taken to an Okta login screen
  6. Enter your username and password, then use your multi-factor authentication code to log in
  7. You will arrive at the Okta Dashboard where you can access the application
